Below is a list of a few really useful websites. Some are blogs, some are resources and some are just worth knowing about.

Patron of Reading. Using authors to help encourage children to read for pleasure.

East Boldon Junior School's book blog.

Huge database of children's books and authors.

Loads of information, reviews of children's books and competitions.

Has a great list of books for KS3 pupils- some are appropriate for more able KS2 children.

A great place to get free English resources. Mostly aimed at older children, but an entertaining blog.

The ramblings of a few scattered authors. One of my favourite blogs.

Lots of great stuff about writing.
A pleasure to read. And quite political.
