Books to read over the summer holidays

Please add your suggestions to the list- either anything that you've read and really enjoyed, or anything that you're planning to read.

1. The 'Gone' Series- currently Gone, Hunger, Lies, Plague, Fear and Light. Written by Michael Grant. If you liked The Hunger Games, I have a feeling you will absolutely love these!



2. Mortlock by Jon Mayhew- a very dark, exciting and spooky gothic chiller set in Victorian London. With cool black pages! What more could you want from a book?

    Anyone who likes a shorter but funny book (better than Diary Of A Wimpy Kid) read The Brilliant World of Tom Gates! Its great! Read it all last night! Couldn't put it down! Reserved the next one at the library ;)
    The book is, like wimpy kid, a diary of a young boy (Tom Gates), there's some funny parts and some bits where you just wanna read on! Read It! :D

    The Tom Gates books seem to be massively popular Danielle- I'll have to read them all. I think there's four already!

    Lionboy, by Zizou Corder is exceptional! I just finished it and am pretty excited to read the rest of the trilogy.
